The tall commuter

This is one amazing tall trek. This bike is fast and very stable. Soaks up Seattle potholes in the winter and just keeps going. Great off road too.

The wheels are 650b from a Schwinn Mirada from the late 80's or early 90's.

Tires are 40mm Panaracer.

Brakes are NUTTED tektro extra long reach (67mm). They just barely make on the rim with the kool stop pads.

Frame is an early 80's Trek 520 with Reynolds 501.

There is clearance to spare, even with the fat tires AND fenders!!
